Grade 5 Band Info Night - Monday, June 3rd at 6:30PM

Eldorado offers an exciting Band Music Program as an option for students going into Grade 6 who are interested in learning how to play a woodwind or brass instrument.

If you would like to know more about the Band Music Program, all Grade 5 families are invited to attend our Band Information Night on Monday, June 3rd at 6:30PM in the music room. Staff will be available to answer questions, and students will have an opportunity to try playing the instruments!

Final Dress Rehearsal on Stage - Week of June 17 - schedule to be determined - we will let you know!

Grade 8 Ottawa Trip

This is a message for all grade 8 students attending the Ottawa trip.

There will be a brief meeting to review the final itinerary, room listings and list of items to bring.

We are asking that all girls attending this trip meet Mr. Reilly in the STAC room Wednesday May 29th during the first half of the first nutrition break.

We will meet with boys on Wednesday as well, during the first half of the second nutrition break in the STAC room.

Talent Show Results


The results are in! Out of around 100 auditions, we have narrowed the choice down to 35 final acts. The results will be posted on Tuesday, May 21 outside Mrs Kim’s seminar room. The final show will be on Friday, June 21.


Please be available for rehearsal from May 24 - June 14.

Thank you to all those who have come out to audition! Everyone did an amazing job and you should be extremely proud of yourself! BRAVO TO ALL AUDITIONERS! It was a very tough choice for us judges!

For those who were absent on their talent show audition day, you are welcome to come in to audition on the last audition makeup day this Thursday, May 16 at first NB in Mrs. McGill's music room!


Grade 1 - 8 can attend this makeup audition day. Please make sure your act is no longer than 2 minutes. You can audition by yourself, with a partner, or with a group!


Teacher judges will post the final acts who have made it on Monday, May 20. The list will be posted by Mrs. Kim's ESL seminar room, so make sure you check it!

Girls Baseball Tryouts

Grade 7 girls interested in trying out for the girls baseball team, please come to the gym at the beginning at second Nutrition Break.
Tryouts will continue next week for girls in grade 6, 7 and 8.

Latin Eagles:

 A huge CONGRATULATIONS to the Latin Eagles and Bhangra Beats teams for doing a spectacular job at the Niagara's Best Dance Crew Competition! They proudly came back with:
  • Most entertaining performance
  • 2 Gold Awards (First place in their categories)
  • 3rd place overall (we got a banner!)
  • Specialist "Dance Party Around the World" award
  • $50 scholarship
